SCHOOL WATER SAFETY EDUCATION

The Jasper Ray Foundation brings water safety education into schools through age-appropriate book readings, lesson plans, and classroom activities. Students learn how to make safer choices around pools, beaches, lakes, rivers, and other water environments.

Zeke The Polar Bear.jpg

The Polar Bear Who Couldn't, Wouldn't Swim was written by The ZAC Foundation, founded in memory of 6-year-old Zachary Archer Cohn after his drowning in a backyard pool drain entrapment.

 

All proceeds from the book support the Foundation's mission to advance water safety education nationwide, including its free ZAC Camps, which have taught swim safety to over 20,000 children.

The Vacation Kitten was co-authored by Vicki Lawrence, Executive Director of the Swim4Elise Foundation.

 

Buying the book helps support the Foundation's work, which was founded in memory of Elise, a 13-year-old competitive swimmer who drowned during practice, and now funds water safety outreach and swimming scholarships in her honor.

Josh the Baby Otter was written by Blake Collingsworth after the drowning death of his young son, Josh.

 

Proceeds from the book benefit the Joshua Collingsworth Memorial Foundation, which has distributed over 500,000 copies worldwide, translated into 12 languages, to teach children lifesaving water safety habits.
