OUR MISSION
The Jasper Ray Foundation helps families be safer around water through swim scholarships, water safety education, community partnerships, and advocacy.
OUR 5 PILLARS
The Jasper Ray Foundation organizes its work around five interconnected pillars, each contributing to our goal of creating safer communities for children around water.

Education & Awareness
We help families understand drowning risks and the steps they can take to prevent them.
Through school programs, community workshops, educational materials, health fairs, and public awareness campaigns, we provide practical information that helps families make safer choices around pools, beaches, lakes, and other water environments.
Access & Equity
Every child deserves the opportunity to learn water safety skills regardless of income, location, or circumstance.
We work to remove barriers by supporting swim lesson scholarships, connecting families with resources, partnering with underserved communities, and expanding access to aquatic opportunities throughout Orange County.
Advocacy & Policy
We support systems and policies that help keep children safer around water.
By participating in local, regional, and national conversations around drowning prevention, we advocate for evidence-based solutions, stronger safety practices, and increased awareness of childhood drowning risks.
Community Engagement
Drowning prevention takes all of us.
We bring together families, schools, healthcare providers, first responders, aquatic professionals, businesses, and community organizations to create a stronger culture of water safety through events, partnerships, and collaborative programs.
Fundraising & Sustainability
Community support makes prevention possible.
Through events, grants, sponsorships, donations, and partnerships, we generate resources that fund swim scholarships, educational programs, outreach initiatives, and future growth of the Foundation’s mission.
